The main foyer (pictured here), which measures 12' wide and 45' long, is dominated by the original, freestanding, cherry spiral staircase and lighted by the smallest of three chandeliers from the early 1900s.
Awaken to the delightful strains of chamber music and the wafting aromas of freshly brewed coffee and hot-from-the-oven muffins, as the day begins with a specially prepared candle-light breakfast served on fine crystal, china, and linens in the formal dining room.
In the evening, relax with us in the Parlor under the soft light of the elegant Murano crystal chandelier and enjoy a complimentary homemade dessert and beverage. A spacious parlor/communal area offers cozy surroundings for a game of cards, puzzle making or curling up with a good book. A Baby Grand Piano is available for our guests to enjoy as well.
Outdoor Relaxation
Relax at our peaceful, farm park-like setting. You will find double rockers on the front porch, garden benches, and a large patio area with tables and comfortable seating set among ancient maple trees. Stroll our flower gardens with Gazebo and multiple fountains and fish ponds, walking paths throughout our nature reserve, hammock area, and fruit orchard. Enjoy interacting and learning about our Alpacas & Llamas. Numerous bird feeders are located near the house attracting a variety of songbirds and hummingbirds. A picnic table and grill are available for guest use. Depending on harvest time, guests are welcome to pick from the 50+ orchard of apples, pears, and plums. We also grow grapes, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, and an Herb Garden for Guest indulgence during breakfast. And of course, our Official Greeters and companion pets, Sophie and Sammy, our Golden Retrievers, are always available for walks and hugs!
